Autumn 2009 Edition
St Fillan’s Harvest Appeal 2009 donated over 100 back packs and over £300
in aid of Mary’s Meals. This is a campaign to set up school feeding projects in
communities where hunger and poverty prevent children from gaining an
education. Mary’s Meals began in 2002 in Malawi by feeding 200 orphaned
children. Today around 330,000 children receive Mary’s Meals.
