Basis of Parish Grouping

Believing that group ministry is a means by which they can be more effective in touching lives with the love and goodness of God, the congregations of- Aberdour: St. Fillans
- Dalgety Parish Church
- Inverkeithing: St John’s linked with
- North Queensferry Church
- Inverkeithing: St Peters
1: Name
The Parish Grouping shall be known Forth Churches Group2: Territorial Responsibility
The bounds to be served by the Parish Grouping shall be the combined parishes served by the participating congregations or as the presbytery may determine.3: Property and Funds
The property and funds belonging to or held on behalf of each congregation shall remain the property and funds of each congregation.4: Kirk Session
The Moderator of each Kirk Session will normally be the minister called by that congregation. Kirk Sessions will meet jointly at least annually, to review and plan joint ministry.5: Congregational Management
Each congregation remains responsible for its own temporal affairs. The office-bearers of the congregations shall meet together at least annually to decide financial matters relating to the activities of the parish grouping.6:Ministry Team
The Ministry Team shall comprise the ministers appointed to the charges in the Parish Grouping, as defined in the preamble, and other people as may be decided at a joint Kirk Session meeting after consultation with the ministers (or existing ministry team), seeking, where appropriate, the approval of Presbytery. salaries The stipends shall be such as are sanctioned by the Presbytery in conjunction with the Board of Ministry. Other salaries, terms and conditions shall be agreed by Presbytery and shall be as determined by the relevant General Assembly Boards or Committees.8:Collaborative Ministry
The five congregations commit themselves to work collaboratively in the following:- Communication
- Education
- Mission
- Pastoral Care
- Worship
